Virtual Meeting (August 2020) Public Investment in Caribbean countries in times of COVID - 19

he main objective of the Virtual Meeting on Public Investment in Caribbean Countries in Times of COVID-19 was to hold a discussion among the areas of public investment and institutions participating in the SNIP Network of Caribbean countries, in order to identify possible ways and means of cooperation between countries in the contingency generated by COVID-19, strengthening the collaborative work of the Network. The meeting was opened by Roberto García-López, Executive Secretary of CoPLAC-GpRD. During the meeting, Edna Armendariz, IDB Senior Specialist, gave a presentation on "The impact of COVID-19 on Public Investment Systems". Subsequently, presentations were made by the participating countries: Belize, Guyana, Jamaica.
