Formulation: The formulation process commenced when an official request was received by the United Nations Environment Programme (UN Environment) from the Government of Guyana for assistance in the development of the GSDS. As a response, UN Environment undertook a scoping and consultation mission to Guyana from 12-14 December 2016.
