The Public Investment Plan 2022 is one of the most important planning instruments of the Government, as it allows the implementation of policies, plans, strategies, programs and projects aimed at improving the quality of life of the Honduran population, making optimal use of State resources so that they provide benefits to citizens in a timely, effective and sustainable manner. In this sense, the resources invested produce greater social welfare for the community, consistent with the Government's priorities established in the Government's Strategic Plan Country Vision (2010-2038) and the guidelines and indicators of the National Plan (2010-2022).
