The Network of the National Public Investment Systems in Latin American and the Caribbean (RedSNIP) was created in 2010 in order to strengthen the functioning of these state systems by systemizing, generating and distributing knowledge; sharing and distributing good practices; facilitating dialogue and cooperation between countries; achieving better efficiency in public investment management; and improving the management of the SNIP; Currently, it is integrated by the SNIP directors in the regions and receives support from ECLAC, the Interamerican Development Bank and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
