Decree No. 732 of Ecuador (Spanish)

This decree abolishes the National Planning and Development Secretariat (SENPLADES) and creates the Technical Planning Secretariat “Plan Ecuador”, which is under the mandate of the President of the Republic.

This Secretariat will oversee national planning in a comprehensive manner and will act as the Technical Secretariat of the National Decentralized Participatory Planning System.

The Decree also transfers SENPLADES to the General Secretariat of the Presidency all the attributions of the institutional design process of the entities and instances of the Executive Function and to the Public Companies Coordinating Company the strategic planning of public companies.
