Law Decree No. 19,175 of Chile (Spanish)

Organic Constitutional Law on Regional Government and Administration, whose consolidated text was approved by DFL 1-19.175, of 2005 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in its article 74, establishes that: “Investment projects, studies and programs must have a favorable report from the national or regional planning organization, which should be founded on a technical-economic assessment analyzing its profitability. In case these are financed with external credits, they must comply with the requirements derived from the relevant loan contracts, in accordance with the instructions from the relevant national credit counterpart”.
