Law on Organization of the Secretary of State of Finance No. 494-06 of the Dominican Republic

Paragraph II: "The Institutional Planning and Development Unit will have the responsibility to advise the maximum authority of the Secretariat in matters of policies, plans, programs and projects of the institution, as well as develop organizational change and process reengineering proposals thereof, including the relevant technological developments. Likewise, it is responsible for coordinating and actioning the planning and development units of the ascribed institutions, acting as a link before the Planning and Public Investment System".
